It's going on in Warren County!



SATURDAY, July 31st, 10 a.m.- till, Cruisin' For Christ Crusade. Parade begins at 10 a.m. at the old high school on Gibson Highway. Meet at 9:30 for lining up. Parade will travel down Legion Drive to Main Street westward to City Park. Activities in the park will include greetings and speeches onstage in the park, with a choir sing to follow at noon. FIRST SATURDAY, August 7th, 10 a.m.-till, Back Roads & Bikes Charity Ride and Poker Run. Registration at Warren Co. court house from 9-10 a.m.. $25.00 Entry Fee per bike. $5.00 for extra hands. Lunch is free! First 40 registered also receive a t-shirt and head wrap. Worst Hand wins $100, and the Best Hand wins $300. Proceeds go to Hometown Warrenton, Inc. supporting local children's activities: The Mentoring Program & the Warren, Let's Read Together Program.

THURSDAY, August 19th, 6-8:00 p.m., Concerts in the Park, featuring The High Lonesome Band, from Gibson. They play a great mix of 60's, 70's & 80's rock and pop. For more information on The High Lonesome Band, check out their website here. Enjoy a mid summer supper with music in City Park. Pack a picnic or pick up some take-out at our local restaurants. This is a Hometown Warrenton, Inc. sponsored event, FREE and open to the public. If it's too hot or raining, we will move the concert indoors to the Cultural Center.

SATURDAY, September 11th, noon-4 p.m., Shoals of Time, Celebrating 237 Years of History on the Ogeechee River, hosted by Georgia River Network and Ogeechee Riverkeeper, located at the home of Missy Garner, Ogeechee River Mill.
